Receive this Gift...
Like any other gift, God's gift of eternal life doesn't become yours until you accept it. Just as you can refuse the gift someone offers you, so you can also refuse God's gift.
The moment you accept God's gift of life you are changed. The Spirit of God brings the life of God into you and you begin to live. Joy comes into your soul and a peace in your heart.
You are born again of the Spirit. You become a "believer and follower of Jesus Christ". You become a member of God's family, a child of His. You are given eternal life in heaven.
Receive this gift now!
This gift of God from Jesus Christ is only available during your lifetime and no one knows the duration of their life. After you die, this gift can no longer be received. Do it now!
If your heart is tugging at you to receive this gift from God, just ask Him for it.
He will hear you.
Start by simply talking to God. Tell Him you want to receive Jesus Christ now.
Pray a prayer like this:
God, I am a sinner. I'm sorry for my sins. I want to repent and turn from my sins.
Please forgive me.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I declare with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart that He died on the cross for my sins and three days later You raised Him to life.
I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward, forever.
I invite You to come into my heart and life right now and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I receive this great gift of salvation.
In Jesus name, Amen."
Your New Life Begins Now!
If you said this simple prayer and meant it in your heart then God has caused something grand and glorious to happen within you. Christ has come to live inside you.
While Jesus was on that cross, the crowd saw one man hanging, but God the Father saw not just Christ but all people including you who put their faith and trust in Him hanging there also.
Bible says we have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer you and I who live, but Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. (Galatians 2:20)
You see, it is by God's grace you have been saved, through your faith. It is the gift of God and not by anything you have done. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Now, we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
